As Creative Director, I led an international team of 10 through the creation of holiday campaigns, commercials, emails, performance marketing ads, social content, podcast ads, and more.
I developed and shaped Redbubble’s creative, irreverent brand voice over many years—writing brand guidelines and leading a brand refresh.

After drafts, pitches, edits, wrestling, wrangling, handshaking, and deal-making, I conceptualized and wrote the script for Redbubble’s first 30 second ad—highlighting the core brand message that thanks to the work of indepdent artists who add their work to the Redbubble marketplace, only at Redbubble can you find hyper-personal products with personality.

The Holidays are Weird this Year
The holidays look a little different in 2020. Our faces are covered and our distances are kept. So creativity is more important than ever for connecting with our loved ones and showing that we’re in the holiday spirit. No matter how weird the world may be. By shopping at Redbubble for perfectly personal presents by artists, we can help our customers stay safe while staying close to the people they care about.
Through remote photoshoots we created a series of photos and gifs that express the weirdness of 2020. This 360 campaign came to life across emails, social channels (Snap, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit), direct mail, and podcast ads.

Gifts That Get Them
For this 360 holiday marketing campaign, we created a series of eccentric characters with very specific niche obsessions (candy, donuts, space, etc) and paired them with the Redbubble sticker, tee, tote, or more that perfectly complements what they’re into.

Rando Redbubble-ness
A smattering of emails and other assorted creative things I concepted and wrote. whenever the team approached new concepts, we would find unique, and fun ways to tell a story about the individual who would want the product designed by an artist. It was all about being expressive, both in storytelling and execution.

For Redbubble’s 2020 home decor campaign we focused on working moms and how they can carve out a space just for them, even if lockdown has turned their homes upside down.
Targeted at Gen X customers. All about how Redbubble is the best place to find personal, meaningful gifts.
Another ad for Redbubble’s 2020 Holiday campaign “The Holidays are Weird This Year.” This one was was written for and targeted at Gen-X podcast listeners.
This ad introduces Redbubble to a whole new audience, highlighting Redbubble’s value props of self-expression and supporting independent artists.
Create Some Good
My team created an initiative to make the world better through creativity. We asked folks to submit an idea for how to improve the world using creativity. If Redbubble’s panel liked the idea, the company would make it happen by funding and supporting it. It was a great time and a big success.
I co-concepted, wrote copy, scripts, co-directed the launch video, and managed all edits.
A global array of artists entered and the following were chosen. This project felt nice.
