This is one of those songs that will come on shuffle and I'll replay it over and over again. Not sure what it is, but it just gets to me. In a very good way. Such an undercurrent of sadness. 

And if California slides into the ocean
Like the mystics and statistics say it will
I predict this motel will be standing until I pay my bill
